Floorboards are vitally important for all inflatable boats. Each craft must be lightweight yet strong, eaily assembled and durable. You can find some integral qualities in various types of materials, like aluminum or plywood, but you can’t find all of them in any floorboard system other than Sea Eagle’s plastic floorboards.
Fiberglass Reinforced Transom
Many inexpensive competitors’ boats have transoms made from painted plywood. One or two coats of paint might cover the bare wood, but paint won’t keep out all water for very long. In just several years you’ll find that painted plywood transoms can simply rot away.
Your transom is undoubtedly the single most critical structre part of any boat – it has to carry the thrust and weight of an outboard over bouncing choppy water. Sea Eagle Transom Boats offer transoms that are fiberglass reinforced for durability and strength. Plywood cannot match this durability.
Rigid Inflatable Keel
Sea Eagle Sport Runabouts offer you a Rigid Inflatable Keel unique to Sea Eagle. It cuts through any water with track and ease, as if you’re on rails.
Secure, Rugged Aluminum Seats
Some other types of inflatables use heavy, cheap plywood seats, instead of Sea Eagle extruded aluminum seats. They are more rugged, and they’re mounted with Sea Eagle’s unique tongue-and-groove system.
Rounded Pontoons give you Faster Planing
Larger, powerful outboards can cause the bow to rise in many other boat models. Our Sport Runabouts have rounded rear pontoons that will have you up to a secure plane in a short time.

Swivel Seat & Steering System
Sea Eagle offers a Swivel Seat and Steering System for the Sea Eagle Sport Runabouts. The Steering System can be used with most any style outboard motor. The Swivel Seat works well with the boat’s steering console, and can also be used along with tiller configurations.
Material you can safely hit with a claw hammer
Who would hit an inflatable boat with a sharp claw hammer? We hit the 1000 denier material in our Sea Eagle boat hulls with a claw hammer… and with the sharp claw end.
The Sea Eagle hull material is reinforced and can take on this pounding… so you won’t need to sweat it if you bump into the dock once in awhile.
